Even though the Catwoman movie and Halle Berry were really slated, I really rather enjoyed it. Her transformation from a shy and timid woman to the utterly sexy and feline Catwoman was a joy to behold. She became a warrior with the characteristics of a cat who prowls around at night searching for her prey. Catwoman was originally seen as a villainess, but in fact she was both good and bad indicating that there is no pure good or evil. Nothing is black or white.

To ancient Egyptians the cat represented the protective aspects of motherhood and was seen as one of the mothers of kings. Like any mother and cat she had both gentle and fierce aspects to her nature. She was depicted in sculpture and paintings with a head of a domestic cat often accompanied by her kittens.
